Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts or thighs
  • 12 oz bowtie pasta (farfalle)
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup Velveeta cheese, cubed
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter (for searing)
  • 1 tsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the bowtie pasta in salted boiling water until al dente (10-11 minutes). Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season chicken with Cajun seasoning and sear until golden brown (6-8 minutes). Remove and keep warm.
  3. In the same skillet, reduce heat and melt butter; sauté minced garlic until fragrant (30 seconds). Add cream and milk, whisking in cream cheese until smooth.
  4. Stir in Velveeta and mozzarella until melted. Toss cooked pasta into the sauce; coat evenly.
  5. Serve by placing pasta on one side of the plate, topped with sliced chicken, and garnish with parsley.
