  • 2 slices sourdough bread
  • 6 oz dill havarti cheese, grated
  • 2 tbsp dill pickles, chopped and patted dry
  • 2 pieces salted butter
  • Handful of dill pickle-flavored potato chips

  1. Butter one side of each slice of sourdough bread evenly.
  2. On the unbuttered side of one slice, layer half the grated cheese, followed by the chopped pickles and the remaining cheese. Top with the second slice of bread (buttered side facing out).
  3. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and cook the sandwich for 3-5 minutes until golden brown. Carefully flip and cook for another 3-5 minutes until crispy and melted inside.
  4. Once cooked, let it cool slightly before crushing some dill pickle-flavored potato chips and pressing them onto one side of the sandwich.
  5. Cut in half and serve immediately for a satisfying crunch.
