  • 2 large chicken breasts, diced
  • 250g orzo pasta
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 500ml chicken broth
  • 200ml heavy cream
  • 60g grated Parmesan cheese
  • 200g broccoli florets
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Season diced chicken with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. In a skillet over medium heat, sear the chicken for 5–6 minutes until golden brown. Remove the chicken and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Sauté minced garlic for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Stir in orzo pasta and cook for approximately 12 minutes while stirring occasionally.
  4. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer; cook for about 8 minutes.
  5. Add heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and broccoli florets. Cook until the orzo is tender and sauce thickens (about 5–6 minutes).
  6. Return cooked chicken to the pan and stir in fresh parsley before serving warm.
