Ingredients

  • Orzo pasta
  • Fresh broccoli florets
  • Boneless chicken breast, cubed
  • Garlic (minced)
  • Onion (finely chopped)
  • Cream or half-and-half
  • Grated Parmesan cheese
  • Olive oil
  • Salt & black pepper
  • Butter

Instructions

  1. 1. Cook the orzo: Boil salted water in a large pot, add orzo and cook for 8-10 minutes. In the last 2 minutes, add broccoli florets. Drain together.
  2. 2. Sauté chicken: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Season cubed chicken with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook until golden brown (7-10 minutes). Set aside.
  3. 3. Prepare the sauce: In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté onion and garlic until fragrant. Stir in cream and Parmesan cheese to create a creamy sauce.
