  • 1 cup hot coffee
  • 6 ounces chocolate pudding mix
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1½ cups unsalted butter
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 6 cups powdered sugar
  • ⅔ cup milk
  • 26 Oreo cookies, crushed into crumbs
  • 10 ounces pectin-based gummy candies

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and spray a 9×13 baking pan.
  2. In a stand mixer, combine sugar, flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt on low speed.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk eggs, milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract; then add to the dry ingredients just until combined.
  4. Stir in hot coffee carefully before pouring the batter into the prepared pan.
  5. Bake for 30–35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean; let cool completely.
  6. Whisk together chocolate pudding mix and milk; let thicken for 5 minutes before spreading over the cooled cake.
