Ingredients

Scale
  • 10 slices diced turkey bacon
  • 3 cups shredded chicken
  • 1 oz package dried ranch dressing seasoning
  • 3 Tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves minced garlic
  • 3 Tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 2 cups half-and-half
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded Mozzarella cheese (divided)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (divided)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 lb dry large elbow pasta

Instructions

  1. Boil the pasta in salted water until al dente (about one minute less than package instructions), drain, and toss with olive oil. Set aside.
  2. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and butter a 3-quart baking dish.
  3. In a deep skillet, cook the diced turkey bacon over medium-low heat until crisp. Use a slotted spoon to remove it from the pan, leaving about 1 tablespoon of fat.
  4. Increase heat to medium; add shredded chicken and ranch seasoning to the skillet, cooking for about 2-3 minutes before removing it from the pan.
  5. Add butter and minced garlic to the skillet; cook until fragrant. Whisk in flour to create a paste, then slowly incorporate heavy cream and half-and-half until thickened.
  6. Stir in Parmesan, half of both mozzarella and cheddar cheeses until melted. Combine with cooked pasta, chicken, and half of the turkey bacon.
  7. Transfer mixture to the prepared baking dish; top with remaining cheeses and turkey bacon. Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly.
