  • 1 lb thinly sliced beef steak (ribeye or sirloin)
  • 1 large onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup shredded provolone cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Cook the tortellini according to package instructions in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté sliced onions and bell peppers until tender (5-7 minutes). Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  3. Add the beef to the skillet and cook until browned (5-6 minutes).
  4. In a separate pan, melt butter and whisk in flour. Gradually add milk while stirring until thickened. Stir in provolone cheese until melted.
  5. Combine cooked tortellini with the beef mixture and pour creamy sauce over it. Stir gently to mix.
