  • 1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak tips
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 12 oz twisted pasta (rotini or fusilli)
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup whole milk
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ teaspoon Cajun seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the twisted pasta in salted boiling water until al dente (8-10 minutes). Reserve ½ cup of pasta water before draining.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium-high heat. Sear steak tips seasoned with Cajun seasoning for about 3-4 minutes on each side until browned. Set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter, sauté minced garlic for 1 minute, then stir in heavy cream and milk. Mix in cream cheese until smooth.
  4. Add Parmesan and mozzarella cheeses, stirring until melted and creamy. Season with additional Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  5. Combine cooked pasta with sauce and toss to coat thoroughly. Serve topped with seared steak tips and garnish with fresh parsley.
