Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak tips
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 12 oz linguine pasta
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup whole milk
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ tsp Cajun seasoning, (to tie the flavor together)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the linguine in boiling salted water until al dente (about 9-10 minutes). Reserve ½ cup of pasta water before draining.
  2. Pat the steak tips dry with paper towels. Season them with Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  3. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat olive oil and 1 tbsp butter. Sear the steak tips in a single layer for about 3-4 minutes per side until browned.
  4. Lower the heat and sauté minced garlic in the same skillet for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Stir in heavy cream and whole milk, then melt cream cheese into the mixture until smooth.
  6. Add Parmesan, mozzarella, and additional Cajun seasoning; stir until melted and creamy.
  7. Combine cooked linguine with the sauce, adding reserved pasta water as needed for consistency.
  8. Serve topped with Cajun steak tips and garnish with fresh parsley.
